Odisha’s Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida shared some big news on Monday, April 7, 2025—she announced that the third round of funds for the Subhadra Yojana Third Instalment will roll out on April 22. Only those who pass a special check will get the cash. The government’s gearing up for a big survey to figure out who’s truly eligible.
Who’s Getting the Money?
This time, it’s not just the third instalment hitting bank accounts. New folks who’ve just been approved will also snag their very first payment on April 22 and 23. Pravati Parida said they’re digging into why about 1 lakh people missed out before. “We’re conducting a thorough review to ensure the funds reach the right people,” she said. With over 1.7 lakh fresh applications in the mix, they’ll double-check everyone to see who qualifies.
Parida made it clear that the window for new applications is shut tight. Instead, starting after April 14, teams will go door-to-door across Odisha. They’ll hunt down who’s eligible, figure out why nearly 1 lakh folks didn’t get their second payment, and fix any mix-ups. “If you got the first round but missed the second, we’re checking your details again. We want this to be fair for everyone,” she promised.
A Bonus for Young Girls
After this third payment, girls who turn 21 can unlock extra perks under Subhadra Yojana. The government’s also planning village meetups to chat with people and sort out why some were left out last time. It’s all about making things right.
