Bollywood star Salman Khan has received another death threat — this time through a WhatsApp message sent to Mumbai’s Transport Department in Worli on Monday. The message allegedly warned that the sender would break into Salman’s Bandra home, Galaxy Apartments, and plant a bomb in his car.

Police have registered a case at Worli Police Station and are now working to find out who sent the threatening message.

This isn’t the first time Salman Khan has received threats like this. Over the years, especially after his conviction in the 1998 Blackbuck case, the actor has received several threats.

One serious incident happened on April 14 last year when two men on a bike fired four gunshots outside his Bandra residence and escaped. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang later claimed responsibility for the shooting on social media. The gang also claimed they were behind the murder of Maharashtra Minister Baba Siddique, a close friend of Salman.

The gang has been known for repeatedly threatening Salman Khan over the years. Their grudge stems from the Blackbuck case, as the Bishnoi community considers the blackbuck a sacred animal.

Last November, Salman also got another warning related to a song that mentioned his name alongside Bishnoi. The threat was sent to the Mumbai traffic control room, saying the songwriter would face consequences, and challenged Salman to “save him if he could.”

Due to these continued threats, Salman’s security has been upgraded to Y+ level. He has also made security upgrades to his home, including installing bulletproof windows, advanced CCTV cameras, and a high-tech security system to monitor the area.
