The Odisha Postal Circle is offering 1101 Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) positions, including Branch Postmaster (BPM) and Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) roles. Interested candidates with a 10th-grade pass can apply online through the India Post website (https://indiapostgdsonline.gov.in) between February 7, 2025, and March 3, 2025. A correction window will be open from March 6-8, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria
Education: You must have a 10th-grade (Matriculation) certificate from a recognized school board, with passing grades in both Mathematics and English. Additionally, you should have studied the local language up to at least the 10th-grade level.
Other Requirements: You’ll also need to have a basic understanding of computers, a way to support yourself financially, and be able to ride a bicycle.

Age Limit: You must be between 18 and 40 years old as of March 3, 2025, to apply. However, there are exceptions to the upper age limit: those belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC) or Scheduled Tribes (ST) categories get a 5-year relaxation, while those from Other Backward Classes (OBC) get a 3-year relaxation.

Application Fee:
A fee of Rs. 100 is required for all applicants except for female, SC/ST, PwD, and Transwomen candidates, who are exempt4.
