President Droupadi Murmu‘s Odisha Visit for two days, starting on March 24. She will visit the Nilamadhaba Temple in Kantilo, Nayagarh, and attend Ravenshaw University’s graduation ceremony in Cuttack.
Security, lodging, and other arrangements are being carefully checked before her visit. The District Collector and SP of Nayagarh have visited the Nilamadhaba Temple to supervise these arrangements.
Visit Schedule:
The President plans to land by helicopter at Paltan Padia in Kantilo on March 24. From there, she will go to the Nilamadhab temple. On the same day, she will also visit the Dhanchangada and Kaliapalli areas of the district.
On March 25, President Murmu will be the Chief Guest at Ravenshaw University’s graduation ceremony.
Recent trips by President Droupadi Murmu to Odisha:
The President was also in Odisha in January for the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas event. She talked about how Indians living abroad can help in the ‘Viskit Bharat‘ plan. She also gave out awards and spoke at the closing session.
On December 3 of last year, President Murmu visited Odisha for five days. She was the chief guest at the Navy Day celebrations in Puri. She also started construction on several railway projects and met with local people in her hometown of Rairangpur in Mayurbhanj district.
