Bollywood actress Kajol, loved for her amazing performances, is in the news for a new reason. Reports say she has bought a commercial property worth ₹28.78 crore in Mumbai’s Goregaon West. This move reflects a growing trend among Bollywood stars investing in real estate.
Kajol Makes a Big Investment in Mumbai Real Estate
As per official records from IndexTap, Bollywood actress Kajol has purchased a 4,365 sq. ft. retail space on the ground floor of Bharat Arize, located on Linking Road in Bangur Nagar, Goregaon West.
The deal was registered on March 6, 2025, at a price of ₹65,940 per sq. ft. Kajol also paid ₹1.72 crore in stamp duty for the transaction. The property comes with five dedicated parking spots, adding to its value.
Kajol & Ajay Devgn’s Growing Interest in Real Estate
Kajol has been investing in real estate for a while now. In July 2023, she bought an office space in Andheri West’s Signature Building on Veera Desai Road for ₹7.64 crore. The office covers 194.67 square meters and was purchased from Veer Savarkar Projects.
Her husband, actor Ajay Devgn, is also actively investing in properties. In May 2024, he leased out a commercial office in Andheri West for ₹9 lakh per month, showing the couple’s strong presence in Mumbai’s real estate market.
