The annual convention of Odisha Television Limited (OTV), titled “Foresight 2025—Changing Times Changing Minds,” kicked off successfully on Wednesday, bringing together prominent figures from various fields to discuss important topics affecting the people, state, and nation.

During her welcoming speech, Jagi Panda, Co-Founder and Managing Director of OTV expressed gratitude to the people of Odisha for their unwavering support, which has helped the channel maintain its leading position.

“In our 27 years of operation, Foresight has become a special initiative that has gained recognition both in Odisha and beyond. This year marks the first time we are holding Foresight under a new government in Odisha. I extend my best wishes to the new administration and hope it serves the people well,” said Panda.

She addressed concerns about rumors suggesting that OTV would favor the government. “I want to clarify that for the past 27 years, the people have entrusted OTV with their viewership, and we will always honor that trust. We are neither for nor against any government. Our responsibility is to provide free and fair news to the people of Odisha, and we will continue to uphold that commitment,” she stated.

Panda also welcomed Dhananjaya Yeshwant Chandrachud, the former Chief Justice of India, along with other distinguished guests. She praised Chandrachud for his dedication to constitutional values and judicial reforms, highlighting how his landmark rulings have strengthened fundamental rights, gender justice, and privacy laws. Under his leadership, the Supreme Court has embraced digital transformation, enhancing transparency and accessibility in the judiciary.
