Rumors have been circulating that Bollywood superstar Govinda & Sunita Ahuja are heading for a divorce after 37 years of marriage. Despite neither confirming nor denying these reports, the news has left fans stunned. The rumors about Govinda and Sunita Ahuja’s marital issues have usually subsided. However, recent statements from Sunita have reignited the speculation.
In the past, Sunita expressed confidence in their relationship, saying, “No one can separate us. I have a lot of fun with him, and I won’t let anyone break our home.” However, in recent interviews, she revealed that they live in separate houses. This change in narrative has fueled the rumors of their separation.

Sunita shared that she has been celebrating her birthday alone for the past 12 years. She also mentioned that they live in separate homes due to Govinda’s busy schedule. “Our family has two homes: I live with the kids in a flat, and Govinda stays in the bungalow across from us. He often gets up late after meetings and enjoys socializing, whereas my son, daughter, and I prefer quieter interactions,” she explained.
In a candid moment, Sunita jokingly said she wouldn’t want Govinda as her husband in her next life. She humorously noted that Govinda doesn’t take care of himself and often eats secretly at night after claiming he doesn’t eat during the day.
Amidst these rumors, Govinda has responded by downplaying the situation, stating that there are only business talks going on and he is focused on starting new film projects. His manager acknowledged some family tensions but emphasized that they are working to resolve the issues.
Govinda and Sunita got married in 1987 but kept it private until after their daughter Tina was born in 1988. They later welcomed their son Yashvardhan in 1997. Despite being one of Bollywood’s most iconic couples, their relationship has faced challenges over the years.
While Govinda is focused on his upcoming films, Sunita has not commented further on the divorce rumors. Fans are eagerly waiting to see if the couple will reconcile or formally part ways.
