On Wednesday, Apple introduced the latest and most budget-friendly member of the iPhone 16 series—the iPhone 16e. This model is powered by the same A18 chip found in the iPhone 16 and starts at a price of ₹59,900, making it the most affordable iPhone equipped with Apple Intelligence. Pre-orders will open at 6:30 PM on February 21, and the phone will be available for purchase starting February 28.
Customers can pre-order the iPhone 16e through both physical and online Apple Stores. Currently, no additional bank discounts are listed for this model, but users can get up to ₹67,500 off by trading in an eligible smartphone, along with a no-cost EMI option for up to 24 months.
Pre-orders can also be made through authorized third-party mobile retailers. To ensure availability on launch day, choose a store marked as “authorized resellers.”

The iPhone 16e comes in two classic colors—white and black—and features a premium metal-glass design with an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. It is available in three storage options: 128GB, 256GB, and 512 GB.
