BSNL Makes a Comeback with First Profit Since 2007, Earning ₹262 Crore in Q3 – Check Out the Latest Innovations

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has made a strong comeback, reporting a profit of ₹262 crore in the third quarter of this financial year. This is a significant achievement, as it marks BSNL’s first profit since 2007.

While announcing the financial results, BSNL’s Chairman and Managing Director, A. Robert J. Ravi, expressed his happiness over the company’s performance. He said, “We are delighted with this quarter’s results, which highlight our commitment to innovation, customer satisfaction, and rapid network expansion.”

With these efforts, we expect our revenue to grow even more, crossing 20% by the end of the financial year,” said Ravi. He also shared that revenue from Mobility, FTTH, and Leased Lines has increased by 15%, 18%, and 14%, respectively, compared to Q3 of last year.

On top of that, BSNL has successfully cut down its financial costs and overall expenses, reducing losses by over ₹1,800 crore compared to the previous year.

BSNL has also introduced exciting new services, including National WiFi Roaming, BiTV – Free Entertainment for All Mobile Customers, and IFTV for All FTTH Customers, making connectivity and entertainment more accessible.

Strong Revenue Growth:

  • Revenue from Mobility services increased by 15%.
  • Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) revenue grew by 18%.
  • Leased Line services saw a 14% rise compared to Q3 of last year.

  • Fast-tracking the 4G rollout and upgrading fiber-optic infrastructure.
  • Improving connectivity in both cities and rural areas for better service.
