Just two days after the tragic incident, Allu Arjun had initially pledged Rs 25 lakh for the family and promised to cover all medical expenses for Sri Teja. On Tuesday, Bhaskar, Sri Tej’s father, mentioned that he received a demand draft of Rs 10 lakh from Allu Arjun.

The family is receiving assistance not only from Allu Arjun but also from the Telangana government during this challenging time. Bhaskar noted that Minister for Roads & Buildings and Cinematography Komatireddy Venkat Reddy provided them with a cheque for Rs 25 lakh.

After 20 days in recovery, Sri Tej’s father observed some movement from his son. He shared that Sri Tej opened his eyes but did not recognize anyone around him.

The stampede at Sandhya Theatre resulted in the death of a woman named Revathi and left her son Sri Tej with serious injuries. Following this incident, actor Allu Arjun was arrested on December 13 but was released on interim bail the next day.
